bon weekend

I like pretty girls, too.

So me voilà on this Friday matin. It is stragley warm and windy for Jan., and I think this weather has messed up my internal clock. It feels almost spring- like , but there is still that Jan. blah/holiday hangover feeling in the air. It's kind of facinating to watch how different people are affected.

I have been putting some live music from the npr site on my computer- for my humanities class of course. I was reading the top 10 of 2005 by Tom Moon, and I have to say, I enjoyed several of his choices. http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=5059418. I hadn't heard Blackalicious before. It is quite enjoyable. I was glad to see a jazz cd on the list. That is one music genre that I don't get to listen to enough at home. I love love it. In fact, I am going to put in my Paris Combo Cd right now. You can check out some of their songs @ http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=4467624. I recommend blaguée. You can get samples at http://pariscombo.calabashmusic.com/. My favorite songs are "On n'a pas besoin" et "Les portes de l'ennue".

Ciao.

yes that is her and yes matin is morning. i lovvvve jazz. listen to it every chance i get. i have the ken burns set and a beat box set w/ some stuff...then some blakey and davis among other random staples. do you like god speed you black emporer? they are the opposite of christian, but i really like their stuff. it is a little experiemental and dark at times. i also like sigur ros. mark doesn't have the patience for music sans mots.

But i love winona almost as much as mathew sweet does, if i could only write a perfect pop song for her. Ryan Adams and Conor had a thing for her so maybe the emotive singer songwriter drunk route is the way to her heart.
