It is official...
Guess where we are moving...? I am SO excited. It is nice to be sure. I am so at peace with this decision. It feels right. It helps that I found out today that I did not get into Hastings...that just confirms what I have been feeling- and I am okay with it. My cousin (who went to Hastings) told me to go to the best school I can and get the best grades I can, and that is what I plan to do. VLS is not on the top 100 elite list, but it is consistently ranked #1 or #2 on environmental law. In fact, Hastings has a program where they send their EL students to VLS. I am still not sure what I will end up studying, but they have everything I could want. Plus, I feel confident Mark and the kids will be happy there. YEAH! We are going to buy snow shoes! Woot!

Congrats! I think that Vermont sounds great. I agree that Vermont will be an easier transition for your whole family than San Fran would have been. I can't wait to read your posts from Vermont--really I only know about that state from the Newhart show, like 20 years ago...
