Donald Trump keeps sneaking into my life. First of all, check out this story on the Apprentice.http://www.naar.org/news/render_pr.asp?intNewsItemID=330 .I'm sure the fact that the president of NBC's grandson is autistic did not influence the Donald at all... In unrelated news, I have been listening to Carla Bruni (who once dated the Donald) today in class, while I keep my students busy, as I have no voice with which to teach. yes she did date mick- and several others. i think that is her in the picture. there were lots of nudy pix of her when i googled her. not fair. so gorgeous and she can write and sing and play the guitar. oh well. i'll try to be happy for her. it is snowing. i am hoping for a snow day. it is cooold.mark started at ace tonight, too.

Sorry, I'm behind again. Vosse and Dia- don't worry, I don't plan to martyr my family and live here forevor. I didn't intend to sound critical in any way about people leaving this fine state, because I will be joining the ranks of those who have already left and those who plan to leave in the near future. My time will come, I just have to finish my degree first. Maybe I will end up in your area. I do love bubbles.
I just read an article in P.S. about Zubbles- the holy grail of toy companies everywhere- soon to be released. They are colored bubbles and it took this guy ten years to develop them. Apparently the chemistry involved is a major breakthrough and will have all kinds of non-toy applications. They had to make the bubbles so that the color is not just washable, but disappears on its own (through friction in seconds or in about 30 minutes with exposure to the air). They're going to make toothpaste that colors your mouth bright green until you've brushed at least 30 seconds. I don't think I want that. But the bubbles look cool! Sorry, that was a long tangent.
