going to VEGAS

Ugh, I cannot get pictures to upload... Oh well.
So, I am SOOO happy that Mark is back safely- especially since I am heading to VEGAS tomorrow!! Yeah, baby. Sarah, Brandi and I are flying out in the morning for a (glorified) last "Girl's Night Out". We have planned it for a while and I can't believe it is here.
Caleb is will be home from Judy's tomorrow- so on Monday( when I get back) the family will be all together again. :0)
TWO WEEKS from today until we move...
Now you may be asking yourself how we are affording all of these last minute jaunts- seeing as how we are both unemployed and moving to VT- and our house has not sold- and we have to get a new car- and we will have to buy school supplies (including my books) for 5 people next month... yeah, I know. I could explain it to you, but then I would have to kill each and everyone of you. Just know that I will be putting it all on black in Vegas.
No worries just yet.
BTW My 'tumor' was benign. (See? Things could have been much worse)

beware of the sling-shot

Here are some more shots...camping in IN, Harvard, DC, and Lake Erie... lots to see!

Last night, we had a little dinner/shower for Brittin. It was me, Brittin, Sarah, Fritha, and Amy- and I have to say it was a lot of fun. We ate Mexican food (and a beautiful cake), had some beers, and talked for hours. The weather was perfect for sitting outside and catching up w/ old friends. I am so excited for Brittin- and the journey she is about to begin as a mother.

Mark is having a great time w/ Ryan, but be prepared to get many posts about all of the things he shot in CO w/ his sling-shot. He is armed and dangerous.

Monday I have to have a mole removed (to be biopsied)- the Dr. did not like the look of it at all, and I am a little nervous about his reaction. I don't have time for skin cancer.

I took my mom and sister to the airport yesterday. They are spending two weeks in Italy and I am SO excited for them. I hope they get a chance to relax and take it all in...We'll see.

It seems everyone around here is gone or going somewhere soon...we are in a strange era of constant transition...and soon we will be gone. for good.

sorry guys...

I have dropped the ball on the blog scene...
Hopefully you have seen Mark's @ http://www.kingdomforavoice.blogspot.com and know that we just returned from a whirlwind trip across the eastern half of the US. It was incredible and here are some pix of the beach at Cape Cod ...among other random shots.
Around here...we have shown the house a few times and I am preparing myself for school by reading Expert Learning for Law Students- sent to me by my school. I would appreciate any advice on legal breifing or outlining from any lawyers who happen to be reading this... I will say I am already feeling a little overwhelmed, but on the other hand, I am so incredibly excited to begin this journey. I feel privilaged to have this opportunity and will do my best to NOT fuck it up.
On a final note- packing is a bitch; a very ugly toothless bitch.

PS Luke, remind me to tell you about Judy's colorful conversation topics... such as the yeast under her boobs. yeah, now think on THAT. Mark missed it all because he is in CO w/ Ryan- drinking cases of Fat Tire.
